kingworms and heating questions

ok, i have two adult iggys and they just love kingworms. i know thats a no no but i cant resist giving them there favorite snacks(kinda like feeding a dog a piece of your steak). anyways how many years if any will this shave off their lives if i continue giving them 30 or so worms a week?

also, they are free roamers and only like to bask under the heat lamp an hour or two a day. is that sufficient or should i cage them and make sure they get a whole day under the lamp?
