Well, it's been a tough week on the forum, and everyone has been emphasizing good preventive care, which I totally agree with. But...
For example, Flavia, I think it was you, mentioned that you get a fecal done 2-4 times a year. Now are we talking about just the float... or the float, smear, giardia (spelling wrong, I know) and other tests?? The one that costs $35, or the one I did when I first got Bud that cost me around $250?? NOT that I'm saying I want to skimp on care, but... I'd like to be prepared. Maybe sell a kidney or two to finance it. :)
Also, how often does everyone get bloodwork done, if at all, and how old was your ig when you were first able to draw blood? I would love to get this done for Bud, but two different vets have tried to draw blood from him, to no avail- He's still too small, I guess.
