I think there are only a few people here that have a Ctenosaura similis so you will have to wait for them to respond.
I can only hazard a guess.... is it a lump that appears deep under a bunch of flesh or is it a surface type thing? My green iguana gets a large lump where you describe when he gets a bunch of seminal plugs backed up...and it is breeding season now for many lizards. Without seeing what you mean I really couldn't say though.
