excellent choice!
few people realize how fantastic these guys are, and often go for the bigger greens or spiny's.

Also, there is some debate on whether the diet is 100% vegetable matter or not. Some advice to offer young dipsosaurus 50/50 bugs n veggies. When adult, 90/10 (10% being protein).

As for the flowers, don't worry about it. If you ever come accross some they eat in the wild, and can grow them yourself, you can offer them occasionally as treats and such. But I doubt they are essential.

By the way, you do know that they need a VERY large enclsoure to run around right? 4 feet is the minimun you can go. 6 feet would be perfect. Funny how these little 14" guys need so much space!
