hello,,first time here,,need some help on desert iguanas

im thinking of buying a desert iguana,,i know alot about them but all the caresheets say they eat veggies and flowers,,,,i just want to know .do they have to eat flowers,,could they just live on veggies,,,and what kind of veggies,,none of the caresheets listed what kind
