I was browsing some reptile rescue sites and I noticed that a few of the big adult iguanas that were up for adoption have never been placed in a tank with a lid on it & they free roam 100%. How is this possible? Wouldn't one have to iguana-proof their home/apartment? What about the temp & humidity?
Also, I was wondering if an ig can be trained to go to the bathroom in the same place, like on a newspaper, or if they do that anyway like Leopard Geckos do?
I am really curious and interested in hearing about free roaming iguanas, so anyone who lets theirs free roam completely, please respond & tell me about it.
