first of all i want to say thanx to all who helped me collect info on the madagascan iguana. i`m still searching so if any of you come up with anything new, please send it to me via email or post it, whatever works for you. i am planning on taking the info i found to the petstore to show them. i am not goign to buy the animal for a little while, so i want them to see this info so they can maybe take care of the animal properly. they said they were having trouble getting it to eat. the guy couldn`t tell emanything about the animals lifespan or what it eats or anything, so i think its not eating because of thier ignorance. if i don`t buy it, i at least want it to be cared for right. cross your fingers that they won`t kick me out or get mad for having the nerve to show them info they didn`t look up. i`m already banned from one pet store in the area because of my nerve! i prmoise i`m gonna be nice, but keep your fingers crossed anyways!
ok and now to petrie, the most spoiled rotten iguana!! for the last 6 mos, i have spent night and day caring for him, feeding him, bathing him, cleaning his cage, snuggling with him, etc. and now he has decided that he likes my boyfirend better!!! how rude!! my b/f doesn`t even really like him! every morning for the past few mornings, my b/f has been awakened by petrie who had climbed down from his basking shelf and cralwed up the bed sheets and sat right on my b/f staring at him. all he does to me is try to bite me! what a spoiled brat! he lets my b/f pet him and feed him and pick him up, all the while being meaner and meaner to me. he got this attitude once he became free roaming... my b/f loves to tease me now. oh well, i think its kinda cute. petrie will stare at us when we are in bed and wait till we are sleeping to climb down to us and stare at my b/f. it makes my b/f mad, but i think he really likes him, hes just pretending to be mad. anyways, sorry the post is so long!
