when Godzilla saw the cage's door was open he run not in the door's direction but in his food plate direction and laid over his food.I suppose since the door was open he was afraid a starving intruder will enter his cage and eat his FOOD!!LOL!!No way, after waiting more than half hour i took him by his back legs and everything started again. It looks like a cartoon, my iguana trying to grasp everything he can inside the cage to dont be pulled out!!
:I have a pretty big iguana. He loves to come out of his cage but hates to be removed from the cage. (I always thought that was weird.) I started just opening his cage and letting him come out on his own. Usually this takes at least 2 minutes (its a long time if you are sitting and watching...LOL) and then once he is out I am able to pick him up. I found this works best for me.
