yesterday when I was giving my iguana bath, he pooped in the water and some of it had a red dried substance along the edges of it. it wasn't that the poop was dyed red, but along the edges there was a red, crusty, dried substance. it immediately worried me but to calm myself down I passed it off as being the red grapes I was feeding him the week before, even though I knew better. today I went into his cage and noticed that when he pooped there was a slight red tint to it, the urates were tainted red and the feces were small white pieces (they weren't brown). I noticed when he was standing up on his basking shelf that his hemipenes was sticking out. Could this be blood from his hemipenes? he has hardly been eating the past few days, he eats a few squash from his salad and then leaves it alone. I gave him some bread and some cooked broccoli to see if he would eat (since he loves those), and he ate it right up, but he other than that he won't touch his salad. i'm really worried here and i will schedule a vet visit immediately if I see any more red in his poop/urates.
