Hi...I was cleaning the enclosure this morning....feeding, changing water and picking up any droppings and shed. (Good thing is that they're now comfortable enough to actually start eating while my hands are in they're tank....no fear). YIPPY! :)
Anyway, I guess I missed a piece of shed because when I was done, I sat back to watch them for a bit and noticed that IgMan (he's in full shed) was eating something. Now I know they don't drag their food around the enclosure.....so I had to get up real close to see what he was up to. He was gulping down a pretty large piece of his shedding. I don't know how I missed it, but I did. My question is.....can this hurt them? and why would he do that? He's not starving, that's for sure. Is this a natural behavior?
Thanx yet again for your time and patience. :))
I can't wait to get some pix posted, they're soooooooo cute!!!
