Thanx to all of you that replied. I think maybe you're right....it got stuck on his tongue and it was easier to eat than the get out! lol.

I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't hurt him.....thanx again! :)

:I have never seen mine do this. I know some geckos do. Just as a guess,... he saw it, tongue flicked it, it got stuck to his tongue and he started swallowing it. This is why we say not to use shavings, pellets or gravel for a substrate.
