this could be an old/healed injury??? when iZ broke a toe, there was no way he'd let me touch it and he didn't do hardly *any* walking til it healed up for awhile ... now that it's totally healed, he walks on it like what you described jub-jub does ... it just kinda drags along with the others ... but when he 1st did it, it was *very obvious* that it hurt! if it's not sensitive to you 'messing' with it and it's not swollen, i would *guess* that it's an old healed injury that you just haven't noticed before ... but ... if you think there's *any* possibility that it *is* a new injury i'd take him into the vet and get a pro's opinion ... there's not really much they can do, but iZ's vet put him on Baytril as a precaution when he broke his tail ... (and also topical antibiotic cuz the skin was broken ... )

i'm really good at worrying and i'd rather spend a few bucks at the vet's to ease my mind, than worry about if i should or not *grin*
