That there is a picture of my past dog, Linchy. She was a purebred English Bulldog. We were fortunate with her that she was pretty tolerant of young children (a baby pulling at her teets post-pregnancy must've hurt!!!! lol), but she wouldn't tolerate other dogs that were on 'her' turf. A few years back (before she passed) we adopted a big 6 month old (guessing w/breed) Akita/Dalmation mix. He was a sweetheart and I loved him to pieces. However, when Linchy came home from the 1000 islands she immediately trotted up to him with her dominant little prance, inspected him, and made her displeasure known. Unfortunately, we had to give Mooney (he came with that name, lol) back. Would you believe that his head was up to my hip at 6 months old? (i stand at around 5'5") Man, he was an awesome pup =)
