Welcome from Sleestack and me! I would take a fresh fecal sample in to the vet soon. He sounds like he may have some other problems if he can't climb. The vet can check for MBD. You could try some warm baths...maybe he'll swim around and help build muscle.
I'll give you some links. Make sure he has a UV light and a good diet (collards, mustards, turnip greens, dadelion, escarole, endive, watercress, squash, snow peas, green beans, a fruit treat like melon, mango, berries, papaya.
