I hope someday that I can live in Malaysia. It's sounds so nice there.

Flavia, if "people" that he "talked" to on the *internet* caused him to do whatever it is that he claims then he's got bigger problems to worry about. Namely sanity. I'm getting the impression that cruelty cases aren't that prevalent where you live. Let me cite another example and see if it helps at all. Guy here in the US was busted for not only fighting but breeding and training pit bull terriers for fighting. Authorities caught up with him, seized his home, his finances and property, and the dogs - including 6 puppies too young to train. ALL of the adult dogs were put down because it was determined that attempting to rehabilitate them was too costly and too risky. What happened to the 6 puppies? They were put down too simply because they were a product of selective breeding. There was another case that never made it to the press... An individual was was actually making a living by hiring out animal "escorts" by the hour. Fortunately it was brought to the appropriate authority's attention and was closed down but not before taking serious advantage of more than half a dozen animals of various species. Yet another case dealt with last winter - boyfriend was bittenby girlfriend's iguana during/shortly after an argument. B/f goes into the kitchen, grabs a steak knife, stabs the iguan and throws it out in the snow to die. Was it the girlfriend's fault for getting into an argument with him in the first place?

This guy, whether the entire story is true or not I don't know but wouldn't be surprised if it is, had his mind made up 2 seconds after he asked for help here at the LATEST. All the niceties and butt kissing in the world wouldn't have made a difference and, unfortunately, it sounds like an iguana had to be destroyed because of the stupidity of ONE individual - NOT the majority that attempted to educate. And, unfortunately, his was most likely NOT the only iguana to be disposed of in one manner or another yesterday although I'd hate to see real time mortality rates but it happens EVERY day. NOTHING that ANYONE here said MADE this yo-ball take a particular course of action. If, in fact, this situation is authentic the decisions made were of his own free will. And EVERYTHING that we all have seen transpire here regarding the origination of this story is is in complete violation of several statutes and punishable by law. Like it or not, Flavia, some people simply don't give a damn regardless of what anyone says.....
