I've been away from the message board for awhile.
I live in Victoria, BC. Is there anything I could do? I guess if he's gotten rid of it already it's too late...I hope he called the SPCA. It would have been the easiest way for him to 'get rid' of it anyhow - they would have picked it up and he wouldn't even have to have touched the iguana if he was so scared of it.
*sighs*
p.s. Joey is doing fine, although the skin has not come off yet, but the area is only about the size of a dime now and the yellow area has lightened in colour(it's shrunk). I'm still applying a small amount of polysporin and aloe and we have another vet appointment scheduled next week.
Kally & Joey
:It is real...mouth in different positions and tail is regenerated (which I'm sure they would want a better tail for a toy). Anyway, good catch on the paper.
:Everyone is getting upset for nothing. This guy is trying to get a rise out of people and that is exactly what he did. If you give him the proper care instructions and leave it at that...no one else argue or respond...he would get bored with this charade and leave. We'll never know the truth anyway, but judging from his rediculous story, it is probably a mock photo shoot and I seriously doubt the guy dumped the iguana back behind McDonalds.
