Me too! Took me a couple of months to find a place though.
Also, not as good a selection - but usually cheaper (collards are $1.69 right now) at "Lifestyles" on Douglas - by that half price computer book store.

I heard there was a good vet right in Victoria - can't remember his name, but we go to Chris Collis in Langford. He is listed in the ARAV and has his own reptiles. Better yet - he cares enough to research, ask questions, and find answers.

Ally is actually a dwarf spiny tailed iguana, but I am a grandma to the original green guy, whom my daughter brought home to nurse a few years ago. He came with instructions for romaine lettuce .... didn't seem to me lettuce would keep a dinosaur alive as it has no nutrients .. so I surfed ... and I am still here dammit! Great people have passed through this forum, and I feel fortunate to have 'known' many of them. (Plus I need to keep up-to-date for Iggy's sake .. much to my daughter's disgust. But hey, what are mom's for, eh?!!)
Happy herping,
Wendy & Ally
