no offence, but I think that pet stores are a very reliable source of information as they have to stay in business. if they are wrong they go out of business. that is exactly why i went to petcetera to compare the info I got from here. they are pretty much the most successful store around (there isnt a petco nearby me ..) so they must be doing something right. they sell these animals and I cant imagine that they would be lying to people and telling them information that is 100% wrong or else they would be sued and they would go out of business.
i hope that people here dont take that the wrong wayy as it seems that you people in this small group have your "own" way of doing things (ie: vegitables etc) ... I dont know if you are all vegitarians or something maybe>? who know but the internet is a wierd place and I am just checking all of my information sources. so far the most reliable does seem to be petcetera as I can go right down there and look at one of these things (which I did yesterday). plus the young kid working there was totally helpful giving me food etc for it and selling me a cedar chip dog bed etc. he really knew what he was talking about and certainly wasnt insulting to me like many of the people here have been.
dont get me wrong. i appreciate all of your comments but if the thing eats burgers and fries and likes dog food, and the store that sells the thing confirms this then perhaps people here should pay a visit to a pet store and do some reasearch of their own.
