Tempest's salad consists of half mesclun mix (for variety) and half collards, dandelion, escarole, or whatever other leafy greens I find at the store. He gets a big handful of that, and about a half cup of veggie mix a day. The veggie mix is a squash, carrots, peas, beans, red pepper and any other healthy veggies I have, thrown in a food processor and finely shredded. He's gained over 3/4lb since he came home to me in October, going from 640gm to 975gm at his last vet visit a few weeks ago. His colour has improved incredibly, as well as his body condition and muscle tone. He gets calcium and vitamin supplements twice a week.

Pardon the photo, he was just starting to shed massively when I took it. Poor guy is shedding again already too, I take it as a good sign for him!!
