Mom...go for it all...yes hide box...heat pad under..for a cuddly belly get one of those human heat pads at Walgreens or anywhere I guess..about 13.oo large rectancular trash can maybe put on its side or make a wooden iggy den ...little hole cut out in closed end for the cord. As long as the ambient temps don't drop he'll dig it. lots of fun to be had in that room..
