Kaaz is somewhere between 6 and 8 years old. 4.5 ft long, around 10 lb.
Guy is about 9.5 years old. Over 5ft long, 14.5lb last time I weighed him.
The 2 wrigglets are... well... a couple of months old at most?
Their pics are a couple of posts down.
I HAVE to have collard greens and mustard greens for them. Kaaz likes his collards and Guy likes his mustard, so those two greens are always in their diet. I usualy buy a couple of different additional greens, and something colorful each week. Other greens I buy include turnip, dandelion, watercress, escarole, beet greens, rapini, bok choy, pea vines, kale... probably others I can't remember at the moment. Colorful foods include squash, yams, fruits (mango kiwi and papaya are big favourites, others include most common things and odd ones such as cactus fruits), edible berries of all kinds, and edible flowers (squash flowers, nasturtiums, hibiscus, etc...) The little wrigglies basicaly eat everything the big ones do, but shredded reeeaaly small. I add alfalfa powder to the little guys' salad a few times weekly, I figure the extra protein is good while they're growing.
The reasoning behind my diet? I've read numerous pages about diet(MK, Ig Den, Swofford's, Iguana Spot, and others), all of which agree that leafy grees are a major part, and animal protein amounts should be from very low to nonexsistant. Diet charts vary widely, I have yet to see two completely different sources which agree as far as the details. I try to feed a variety, paying attentions to calcium levels. Other than that, what I feed is based on what's readily available, what's readily eaten, and what's reasonably clean and healthy.
