It tends to dehydrate and definitely isn't as good as fresh veggies. Maybe you could transition him by smearing babyfood on some collards, mustards, turnip greens, escarole, dandelion, endive, watercress, squash, peapods, green beans...(probably smear on the sweet babyfood!) And try tempting him with some fruit like mango, melon, berries, papaya as treats. It may take awhile and some patience but in the end it is well worth getting him on a more natural/healthful diet.
