I was only talking about the overall amout of radiation the mercry-vapor bulbs give off at such a short distance although Who knows how many hands the information and stories Ive read have passed through I do belive that the radiation is extremly high at such short distances and of corse flood and spot do vary -I could be off a little though and I do think more studies need to be done on them
