First I will give as many specifics as possible. We own two iguanas both in separate but almost exact enclosures. The are wood/plexiglass/and mesh enclosures. The basking spot reaches around 95F. The cooolest area is around 75F. There are many hiding spots with branches climbing vines, etc. We use a UVA&B bulb plus natural sunlight whenever possible. The eat collard greens, squash, cucumber, green beans, iguana magic juvenile diet, and at times spinach, carrots, bananas and apples, all are treated with herpcare calcium & vitamin D suplement. We mist them several times a day plus let them soak in warm water every to every other day. We also leave a swimming drinking bowl which we clean 1 to 2 times daily in their cage. Now for the problem. Timmy is very healthy growing at a great rate bright green in color has shed several times and eats well. Then there is Iggy. At first he/she seemed very active ate well and was growing well but over the last couple weeks she has gotten progressively worse. He still seems to eat well but has steadily turned a more brownish color seems lethargic and has a limp tail. I thought maybe it was dehydration at first and started soaking him twice daily. That didn't help. The only vet we have in the area does not specialize in reptiles and has no ideas on what could be causing it. Can you please help we don't want Iggy to die.
