Today it has been working fine.
That is interesting that they turn off by themselves.
:..said this was normal and should be expected to prevent overheating and such. However since they were under the Styrofoam at the bottom of the box instead of at the top where I opened it I did find them right away. If you still have you box you could try looking at the bottom to see if the card describing this was in there.
