:the dome thing that you have it in, is the base plastic or ceramic?
:when i first got my PowerSun bulbs i had them in dome with a plastic base...*cook* *cook* *cook* but, in my case, it just roasted it outright, and no more light because the fixture itself was toasted. once i got a ceramic fixture that didn't happen anymore.
