Hello, I finally installed Beanie's new RHP over the weekend
and have discontinued using the ceramic heater in the room
in which her enclosure is in.
So far it has worked well. I have it set at 80 degrees and it
is in the middle portion of her habitat. During the day the
enclosure stays at about 75 bottom, 80 middle and 90 at the
top where she basks. Directly under her heat light it is 100
degrees. My question/problem is this. Last night the room
temp dropped to 70 degrees without the ceramic heater so the
enclosure temps were a little cooler. 72 on bottom, about 76
in the middle and about 80 on top. Are these temps a little
too cool? She always sleeps on the top basking ledge. I am
afraid if I up the temp with the RHP that during the day it
will be too warm.
What do you think? :)
