Think seriously about taking her to the vet...your iguana has some good genes if she's made it to 14 (despite a rocky start and the protein). You must be very attached. Bloodwork can show you whether she is having any type of organ failure, is low on calcium, has a potential infection, etc. It is your best bet.
Stay away from the protein...breads/grains are good treats they seem to love as well.
Just remember any lethargy, going off eating, and not interested in basking....these are not good signs no matter what the age of your iguana is. These are the signs that something serious is wrong. If she were going to lay eggs, she may go off food, but she would still be going nuts...digging or acting crazy (not lethargic). Good luck.
