He is potty trained. He goes once a day in the tub. He'd already done it today, before he smeared it on my carpet. He didn't go because he had to, he went because he was mad at me for not letting him roam the house any more. It was Lizard-style revenge. :-/

:you can potty train them. i used one of those hospital bed pans that i cut the top off (couple of inches so she could easily climb into it.) then, i used a cigarette lighter to burn--and round off--the rough edges from cutting. (can't have the lizard hurting itself.) i filled it with these paper-bark things i got from the petstore. (they are about the size/consistency of cedar chips, but they are made out of cardboard/recycled paper and have no scent.) i then weighted it down with a big rock that i got outside. underneath it, i have a big piece of plastic just incase her aim is off on a particular day--she rarely ever misses the pan.
:the pan is located in an out-of-the-way place in my closet, where it's sorta dark, kinda private, but i can still get in to clean up after she's done with her crapping.
:after i had it set up, i'd just keep an eye on her and when she had that i'm-about-to-crap-on-your-carpet gleam in her eye, i'd intercept her and place her in the pan. it seems like i had to keep a watch on her for about a month, before the crap-in-the-bucket routine became the norm. my lizard craps once a day (usually), the paper stuff absorbs the liquid parts of the mess, and all i gotta do is just scoop out the clump and refill the pan when necessary.
