oh yeah...the hand thing is very cute. They can all do that (at least mine have) but it is always when they really want something just out of reach. It's like their "gimme gimmee gimmee" motion! If you move the item closer, they will grab it with their claw and pull it towards them! It is usually with yummy food, but my last iguana did that with a pretty girl iguana who we visited. I was holding him, and he reached out his hand for her....gimme, gimme, gimmeee! It was precious but we would not let him have her!
