Hi DoomRat...I post at the dragon, too. We have m/f green iguanas, male dragon, fat tail gecko, tokay gecko & a corn snake. Our igs are 4 & 5 y/o and the dragon is 2. They are never out at the same time. I can put the dragon on the window sill which is between the 2 iguanas' separate enclosures and he is just fine. They don't react to him being there either. They live in the dining area; he lives in the living room. When they are out free roaming and come in to the living room, he doesn't react to either of them.

BUT...this fall we had to paint those areas. When we moved the dragon's tank into the dining rm. for a couple of days, he was just fine & so were they. However, when we reversed the procedure & moved their enclosures in to the living room, Goliath went bonkers!! So strange that when loose it was okay but he didn't like them in there in their enclosures. I finally had to cover part of his enclosure so he couldn't see them because he kept charging toward them.

THEN when they came to lay the carpet in those rooms we moved every tank back in to my eldest son's room (hey one day that's going to make a great reptile room LOL) No problem with any of them.

So apparently the dragon felt more territorial about the living room. It may be that your dragons will react the same way with an iguana. I don't know.

As far as care goes, the lights/heat/UVB etc. etc.you already know to do & their importance. Temps will be different for an ig. Dragons eat veggies too so you are probably used to having to chop/dice/shred. The only difference here will be that you will be making "salads" in much larger quantities. From my own experience, I would say that iguanas are much moodier than dragons are....dragons are pretty laid back, easy going; iguanas can be the same but can be a handful when it's the mating season. They also don't hand tame as easily as most dragons do.

If you decide to go for it, visit here! Folks are as fine as those at the dragon forum!
