I just had a thought.... It may actually be possible that State vets have the power to "deputize" individuals to assist them. I remember seeing something about it in my state RSA's. This may be a point for the herp societies to look into....
Something else to consider - especially for the reptile community. I recently read somewhere that the HSUS may be assisting in the development of caresheets.... Keep on your toes everyone.....
