Thanks for all of your great advice and pictures!! I live in northern California, so unless it is really nice outside in the winter, it is probably too cold or stormy for Margarita to go outside! The outdoor enclosure looks really great!
I think I have decided to build a five sided corner cage that would measure 3' on the corner sides and 1.5' on the other three sides (a pentagon shape), it will also be 4.5'tall. Does this seem like something she could live in for a year or two? Or should I make it bigger? The vet said she was approximately 8-10 months old. Also, It will be made of wood/plexiglass and all the wood will be double walled and insulated. We have thought about putting tile on the floor (covering it with newspaper) so that the cage would be really easy to clean. Is there any known toxicity problems associated with tile? It will likely have a built in iguana tub with drain and a misting system.
