My iguana has also not been eating or drinking due to breeding season. I started feeding him by mouth with a feeding syringe. I took collard grees, peas, and water and threw it in the blender. I also bought some pedialyte, ensure, vitamins, and bannana's and mixed that up for him too (M. Kaplan's recipe). Mine has been dehydrated by the lack of food and drink. He is very aggressive so I have been feeding it through the cage every day (still offering food but he won't eat it). He is very used to getting fed this way (I had to feed him like this for 6 months during a serious illness) and will open his mouth easily for me.
Maybe you could try taking him out and trying to feed him this way. You don't want him to get dehydrated because of kidney failure.
Good luck,
Janeen
