I think it is pretty normal during breeding season (ruling out other problems of course). Slee is taking in 1/2 or less of his normal food intake...and roaming around all crazy like when he normally just wants to bask on his top shelf. He is also tearing his cage apart during the day when I'm gone. I've seen it every year. They bulk up and eat a lot before it happens, then they get skinny. (that's what those fat bumps on the head are now for!) As long as they are healthy, they can handle it. There are more pressing things than food on their minds :-P
