Do you mean the Active UV bulb is unsafe also? I do use a
100 watt for my Ig. She seems to prefer this over the heat
light and standard UVB fluorescent. I do not want to cause
any problems however if this is dangerous. Does this funtion
as the mercury vapor bulbs do?
