For the first three years or so, the iguana will gain roughly a foot in length per year. So it is safe to say that a four year old may range from 3.5 feet to 4 something feet. As they get older, growth slows down, but never ceases.
So to reach the three-foot mark, it may take about 6 more months to a year. Depends on sex, diet, lighting, cage size, and overall health.
If you are doing everything right, do not worry, they will get big sooner or later... and that's when things also get interesting... ;)
