:Thanks all! I take really good care of my ig, then I have a question, can iguanans and water dragons live together?
In the same house? Yes. In the same enclosure? Better not. ;)
Igs and WDs are highly territorial and may not be mindful of the differences in size. Igs also seem to really like to lay on soft things...even if that soft thing is another lizard whose bones and organs won't tolerate very well being squished under the dead weight of a 15+ lb. green iguana. Igs also don't particularly care about where they place their feet when they walk (or, they do) and (so) think nothing of stomping on a WD as they are walking around.
So, while enviromental requirements are about the same, and diet close (at least, the plant part of the otherwise omnivorous WD), the size difference and squishability factor make it better to house them separately.
