That reptiles could feel the heat coming off of your hands. I mean, your finger is probably above 90 degrees and unless the reptile is basking it might be room temperature. So if some moved something that was 20 degrees warmer than you toward your tail (if you had one), you'd probably feel it too. Not saying they don't have auras ;).
