Question about dewlap.

Hi everyone,

I have never seen Beanie without her dewlap tucked tightly under
her chin. This morning when I opened the door there she was
with it extended down. She looked so grown up. Does this mean
anything. I know they do it when showing aggression but I really
don't think she was doing that. Do they do that to maybe absorb
more heat? Her room is kept at a constant 77-80 degrees at night
so she could not have been that cold.
