how about olive oil on spikes...have you heard of that? Or is that not good either because it is not water soluble?
I mist Joey with water at least 3x per day and also give him tubby time; but just today I noticed that his first spike is a little bent on the tip. I thought olive oil would help though, cause a vet recommended it for helping shed.

:I would try warm water soaks. I don't think vaseline is the way to go. If you really need something, I've heard people using Aloe vera gel which is more water soluable. I would first try plain water though.
