I hate bossing Tempest around too :( I'd rather just be gentle with him, talk to him and slowly gain his trust. Unfortunately, there are times I just have to get ahold of him. He has improved alot, and once he's out he settles down well, but I have a long road ahead of me in catching him calmly. I'd rather he come over on his own, than freeze out of fear or submission :( Or fight like he does now.
:in my very very humble opinion, I prefer a friendly approach.The " I am your master" approach, as same books recommend, freeze the iguana but dont tame it.When I tried to use the "IM the Alpha male" approach I only got an frozen ig with a stinky (sp??)look!!What do you think??
