Look, we're not trying to insult. I was bringing it up because I thought you may not have considered those issues. And yes, this forum has a lot of people popping in and out and it is impossible to know who you are.

I thought your taming ideas were good. However, you should really reconsider letting your iguana poop and crawl all over your counters. No matter what you say about that topic, I doubt you would convince me that it is a sound practice! My iguana is kept very clean and is potty trained (I even rinse and wipe his butt so no particles are on him). Even with these measures, he has tested positive for Giardia, nematodes, and protozoas on occasion through the years. Giardia can land you in the hospital so please reconsider your iguana's bathroom practices. One day he will be 6 feet long and think he owns the kitchen!

And these are merely discussions here-- no flaming is going on so don't get upset. We all come here to learn and share.
