i've never found a definative answer as far as how long mating season lasts ... grrrr ... it varies from weeks to *months* depending on where in the country you live, the igs enclosure conditions, it's age, it's health ... etc, etc, etc, ... *i* think it's about time for all these moody igs to settle down tho! *grin* oh, and! it seems to be shedding season too and that can also make an ig grouchy ... can't blame 'em ... it looks awfully *itchy*!!!

as far as your arms healing ... HA! iZ has this down to a science! i get about 2 days of totally healed up arms and then we start all over again ... i wouldn't even call iZ's marks scratches anymore ... they're *cuts* and take a good week + 1/2 to 2 weeks to heal .... sigh ...
