Darwin is bi-polar.......well maybe.........it's possible!!???

hello all......
just curious about the temperament of these little sweethearts/monsters....! Darwin has been foul for a while....then really sweet.....then foul for a while.......then really sweet......We never know what to expect! Right now he's being a real sweetheart. He cuddles, and comes to us, and doesn't show any aggressiveness at all.......but sometimes, he won't let us anywhere near him, he won't come down off of his high stick(king of the house) in his enclosure, and will 'whip' us on the slightest whim! Some people say this is due to mating season...... Is mating season over yet? If not......how long till we're all peaceful again?
P.S.
Most of my Ig scratches ALL OVER MY ARMS are healing up nicely....and I think I know how to hold them without really getting scratched......well not toooooooo much!
