Thanx for your insight bexley. I hope what you say is true. I have studied this situation in the past and was horrified about some of these studies. I remember reading about the monkeys whose heads were bashed in without anesthesia to show what head trauma would do! (DUH! Why not study humans that already had head traumas???) Aside from that, the most disturbing images that stayed in my head were the rabbits without tear ducts who were put into contraptions with their eyes held open...so makeup and chemicals could be poured into them. They were not medicated and their eyes were full of cancer and uclers and blood. I think you could pay humans to test makeup and get some in their eyes. It is just downright barbaric to do that to an animal that cannot blink or clear it out of its eyes.

I am no activist but if I know a company still tests on animals, I will try to not buy products from them. I am happy to hear that things are changing...it's about time!
