Today in the bath, I got a really good look at her tail, which is why I was asking. There are no less than 4 rings at where the tail looks normal. Now, granted, I am only learning about igs, but I do know alot about many other species of animals. I'm guessing that each one is scarring from a tail loss, I'd say she's lost her tail certainly at least two or three times, if not more. I'm hoping the vet can give me a guess on age though.

:Age is impossible to guess...she may be 2 or she may be 8...who knows with the trauma she's been through!

:Her tail looks like it regenerated at one point. It will grow and probably look like the general shape of any original tail eventually but the colors will never be the same. They grow back a muted shade.
