HELP! With Grouchy

Jewel has been the sweetest, most inquisitive Ig since I've gotten her home last Friday. I love her to death and nothing will ever change that...

But I couldn't be home yesterday (tuesday) because of my class schedule... and this morning she REALLY wanted me to take her out and let her roam around. And I couldn't because I had class only this morning...

So I get home, and I immediately go in to see her, and take her out because I KNOW how much she loves to roam around...

And she puffs up like a mean little sh** and tries to bite me. Not once, but four or five times in quick succession.

I know Igs aren't like Cats and Dogs... Can't say to them 'no no bad girl' and have her be ashamed...

She's really mad at me, I think... and I don't know how to a) make ammends, or b) discourage this aggressive behavior.

I don't WANT her to feel she can bully me around with trying to bite and hiss and be grouchy to me when I CAN'T do what she wants. I positively dote over her every moment I possibly can. When I'm in my room, she's out and about... but she couldn't be yesterday, and now she's awful!
