:hey, i replied to ur previous post below...hope it may have been of some help.
:so, the big guy won't eat the greens uh?
:u can try a very "unorthodox" and quiet nasty method used by a friend of mine, when he had a similar problem with his BD.
:get the bugs, and literally "squash" them to a pulp and mix them on the veggies or fruits.
:start with more insect to veggie, and slowly increase the vegetable content and decrease the insect content. leave some pieces of the insects intact for the iguana to "smell" and taste it.
:it might be gruesome, but hey, we humans squeesh bugs everyday, so it shouldn't be too hard. eventually he'll get used to the vegetables. add RED beans to the mixture if u like, since they are rich in iron, and so help substitute for the bugs.
:good luck! at least the little ones are doing their jobs!

Iguana Joe,
Thanks for your suggestions I might try it! I am now putting the meal worms in the food dish where he has to come over and get the worms out of the veggies to get his worm. Hopefully he will get use to the veggy smell and start eating the veggies as well. Bill.
