ig-proofing: depends on if Spot's gonna be supervised when he's out or if you want to ig-proof a room that he'll have access to when you're not there ....
look for any little skinny places where he might squeeze himself into/explore and get stuck and/or hurt .... he'll try to jump *up* on darn near anything, so make sure things in the room are stable enough to withstand a flying leap *grin* ... he'll think things on dressers/tables can be used as footholds and be *very* surprised when they crash to the ground (+ possibly, him with them) iZ likes to aim for the nick-nack shelves in the living room .... he'll want to climb up curtains ... lamps ... any dangling cords .... mirros are *bad*! he'll think it's another ig and probably want to fight with him .... (+ tends to stress them out!) ... 'child-proof' electrical outlets so an inquisitive ig-tongue doesn't get a shock ... iZ tasted a light bulb once and got a *nasty* burn, so make sure he can't get to any of them ....
i'm sure i left someting out, but it's a start ....*grin*
